Now ring die as main spare parts of feed mill are very important to control the feed qaulity and spare parts cost .
we have prepared some information as per our experience with ring die production and maintainance so many
years.
(1) When there are bright spots on the working surface of the hoop and wear marks on the working surface of the transmission wheel, the inner clamp of the hoop has been worn or deformed, causing the ring die to crack.
Solution: The hoop must be replaced in time.
(2) Due to the wear of the matching surface of the transmission wheel, the matching surface of the mold and the roller is obviously loose, resulting in cracking of the ring die.
Solution: The drive wheel must be replaced or repaired in time, or the fitting dimension tolerance of the assembly surface of the ring die must be increased.
(3) The ring die is cracked due to the wear or deformation of the die lining.
Solution: The die lining must be checked and replaced in time.
(4) Due to the wear of the transmission key, the ring die was knocked and opened. The timing is also related to the looseness of the transmission wheel. Regularly measure the gap between the key and the keyway, and replace the transmission key in time.
(5) Due to the damage of the main shaft bearing and the beating of the main shaft, the ring die is cracked.
Solution: Replace the main shaft bearing in time.
(6) Because the butterfly spring is not elastic enough, the main shaft shakes and the ring die cracks.
Solution: Add or replace the Belleville springs.
(7) Cracking of the ring die due to excessive load caused by inappropriate safety pins and safety pin seats.
Solution: You must use the safety pin provided by our company.
(8) Due to the deterioration of the effect of the iron removal device, there are indentations of metal objects on the working surface of the ring die, which leads to cracking of the ring die.
Solution: The iron removal equipment must be checked and cleaned in time.
(9) Since the pressure roller is not installed in place, the relative offset between the pressure roller and the axial working area of the ring die causes the ring die to crack.
Solution: Correctly install the pressure roller assembly.
(10) Due to the small gap between the ring die and the pressure roller, the hard contact between the ring die and the pressure roller leads to cracking of the ring die.
Solution: The reasonable gap is between 0.1mm and 0.3mm, and the new mold should be equipped with a new pressure roller.
(11) Due to the increase of fiber material and the lack of feeding scraper feeding, the ring die cracked.
Solution: Install a new scraper.
(12) When the ring die is shut down for a period of time and is not used for a period of time, there is no “mold washing”, the particles in the die hole of the ring die become hard, and it is difficult to discharge the next time, and the extrusion force is too large, which leads to cracking of the ring die.
Solution: The non-corrosive oily material must be filled immediately.
(13) The cracking of the ring die is caused by directly hammering the ring die with a hard steel tool (such as a hammer) for loading and unloading the ring die. If it is necessary to forcefully install the ring die, use a wooden hammer.
(14) If the feeding amount is too large or the feeder is adjusted in time when the small-aperture ring die is replaced, the granulation is considered to be unbalanced production, resulting in an increase in the load of the ring die and cracking of the ring die.
Solution: Adjust the speed of the feeding motor, and adjust the variable chin controller or electromagnetic controller.
(15) The wear of the cover hole of the die becomes larger, the end face is deformed, and the bolts are loose, which causes the screw hole on the end face of the ring die to tear.
Solution: Replace the die cover.
